This summer I interned for a Bed and Breakfast Villa in Sorrento Italy. Villa Giovanna is family owned and this family prides themselves on being able to provide premier customer service that makes every guest feel like apart of the family. Not only do they have a passion for caring for their guests but also for caring for the planet. They value sustainability highly and that is seen through their electric shuttle and use of solar panels.
Staff
Family
The staff here at Villa Giovanna are family in the literal and metaphorical sense. My supervisor Laura is the manager of the Villa and has worked here since she was 14 years old. Richard the owner has children who are also always helping out around the Villa making sure everything is running smoothly. Even the housekeeper and shuttle driver are married. Everyone here is connected and care deeply about one another. They even sit down for a homemade meal every day. Even though most of the staff do not speak english, they have treated me as apart of the family since the first day I arrived.

- Helping with English speaking guests
- Making welcome drinks for new guests
